9 Reasons Why Crystal Maiden is the Best DotA Support Hero

The Best support in Dota depends on the player, on the opponent's line up and on your combo.

But why am I writing this post?  It's because when in terms of flexibility and effectiveness  Rylai (Crystal Maiden) is the one who stands out among the rest.  Vengeful Spirit also covers a lot of aspects needed for supporting but there are important things that makes Rylai ahead of her.  It will be discussed here.

1.  We're currently in the Trilane Era

Crystal Maiden is one of the best support in a trilane.  She can play aggressive at early levels because of her 3.5 seconds frost nova at level 1.  She can use it to harass and spam it on opponents, preferably all of them due to its wide Area of Effect (AOE).  It also has low mana cost.  The strategy is to waste some of opponent's HP spamming and doing normal attacks, then execute the trilane combo.

Comparing Crystal Maiden with Vengeful Spirit (the hero most people would argue to be the best support hero), Maiden is way more useful.  Frostnova's slow for 3.5 seconds have higher chance of getting a first blood than a magic missile for 1.45 seconds.  The only advantage of Magic Missile is when the target has blink, leap or other escape mechanisms.  However, it's really not a great option to aim for these kinds of heroes at the trilane as stated at the Trilane Do's and Don'ts, there are other soft and more vulnerable heroes.  Once a hero is slowed, you can land more hits. A short stun duration from Vengeful Spirit's magic missile will make you unable to hit your opponents once they started moving (unless you got great move speed, attack speed and good animation cancelling) specially if you're using a melee hero.

2.  Crystal Maiden has 2 useful disables at early levels

At level 3, Crystal Maiden would have Frost Nova and Frost Bite.  These are 2 skills that would assure a kill at the trilane.  If used with proper timing, the hero will be stucked within 300 range for 5 seconds (3.5 seconds slow from Crystal Nova and 1.5 seconds hold from Frost Bite).

Comparing Crystal Maiden with Vengeful Spirit, Vengeful Spirit can only hold a hero for 1.55 seconds at level 3 (with level 2 magic missile).  She can help reduce armor and it's a good thing but in this case holding a hero longer is a more useful thing to do by support heroes.

3.  Frost Nova makes Rylai aggressively safe

Support heroes are vulnerable because of their low hp but Crystal Maiden can be aggressive and land her Crystal Nova without getting in trouble, thanks to the casting range of this skill.  Opponents will find this hard to evade having the fact that they need to get levels and golds as fast as they could at this point of game.  They also want to dominate the lane because if they don't the game is at risk for them.

Crystal Maiden has 700 casting range(Crystal Nova), while Vengeful Spirit only has 500 casting range(Magic Missile).  With low hp at early game and being the main target at the trilane, it is risky for Vengeful Spirit to cast her disable because when she does, opponents can execute their combo on her and she won't last longer than 2 seconds.  In addition to that, when chasing a hero, Crystal Nova, being able to be cast on land, is more reliable because fog users won't get away easily unlike Vengeful Spirit's Magic Missile that is a hero-target skill.

4.  Frostbite's Duration is long enough to set for a kill

Frostbite's durations at level 1 to 4 are 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3 seconds, respectively.  3 seconds hold is just too much to kill a hero getting focused fire in team games.

Can't move?  It's because You're under my spell.
Vengeful Spirit's Magic Missile's duration from level 1 to 4 are 1.45, 1.55, 1.65, 1.75.  Frostbite totally owns Magic Missile in terms of duration though beaten by damage having 210 total damage (70 per second) while Magic Missile has 325(at level 4).  Magic Missile's one advantage over Frostbite is the damage, however Crystal Maiden still has Crystal Nova which adds more damage.

5.  Free mana regeneration for all.

Brilliance Aura's free mana regeneration lets Crystal Maiden's team mates and herself have more advantage over the opponents their fighting against on their lanes.  Having more mana means having more skills to spam for harassments and kills.  It also let other heroes save their golds from buying Ring of Basilius (or other Mana Regeneration items) early game.  Buying Ring of Basilius will stack to her Brilliance Aura and will give more mana regeneration.

Vengeful Spirit doesn't have this so there's no point of comparing.

6.  Long Normal Attack Range

Ideal supports should also be able to baby sit. Other supports have heals(like Dazzle) to baby sit and others have stuns to save from enemy combos (like Earthshaker).  Crystal Maiden's ability to baby sit comes from harassing opponents with her long range normal attacks and skills.  She can also use her skills for saving ally heroes.

Vengeful Spirit only has 400 attack range while Crystal Maiden has 600.  This makes Vengeful Spirit unable to harass opponents on her lane that much because once she tries to harass with her short range normal attack, her opponents won't hesitate killing her in one second.

7.  Vision from Nova

Another advantage of Crystal Maiden is her ability to have vision on fogs, though the range is short.  This can be used to show up a hero being chased, to check for opponents that might be hiding through fogs or to check whether the opposing teams are trying to kill roshan.

Vengeful Spirit totally beat Crystal Maiden in this aspect having longer casting range from her Wave of Terror.  Longer casting range obviously means more safety for the hero.  However, having this kind of ability, though short-ranged, is still a useful skill for the team.

8.  Nova-Bite combo assures successful ganks

Crystal Maiden is also a good ganker using her Crystal Nova and Frostbite to set up a kill.  Hero long ranged slow makes it easy to make sure that the target won't escape from getting a Frostbite.  However, it is not advisable to use Crystal Nova first before Frostbite when trying to kill an opponent with blink.  At that point you should be sneaky and land Frostbite first before Crystal Nova.

Vengeful Spirit's bread and butter in ganking is her magic missile.  Magic missile alone requires her to be sneaky and not scare her target.  Once the target is caught, it should be killed within 1.75 seconds (Magic Missile's Max duration) to kill the opponent.  While Crystal Maiden can hold the enemy longer up to 3 seconds (Frostbite's max duration), not to mention the slow from her Crystal Nova.  The advantage of swapper in ganking is her Netherswap.  A swap and bam is one of the top ganking strategies.

9.  Great AOE for Clash

Crystal Maiden won't be left behind in team fights.  She has a great hold, slow and a very high damage channeling ultimate skill, Freezing Field.  Proper positioning and timing is required to use this.  Don't just do it if you're not suicidal.   Use it when all the deadly skills (specially disables) are made or they are already focus firing an ally hero.  You can walk and do it but if you have a dagger, you'll have greater timing and position so you'll have more chance to inflict greater damage.

Comparing Crystal Maiden to Vengeful Spirit, Vengeful Spirit doesn't have this kind of clashing ability but she has great initiation/saving ability, thanks to her Nether Swap.  She also has an aura that increases her allies' damage within 900 range around her.  Both are useful but Crystal Maiden's ultimate can damage alone making her have the upper hand against Vengeful Spirit in this case.

Other Candidates for Best Support:

Vengeful Spirit - as discussed she's good at some aspects like having a painful stun damage, longer vision, and great skill for saving and initiating(Nether Swap).  However, Crystal Maiden beats her by having more disabling skills, lane domination, clash usefulness, AOE damage for clearing creeps and Free mana regeneration for all.

Witch Doctor - he got healing skill, a stun, and painful nukes.  He's a fair support but obviously Crystal Maiden beats him in terms of disabling opponents having the ability to hold a hero longer.  Witch Doctor needs to perfectly bounce a cask on heroes to hold them longer in place.  Witch Doctor is also too fragile to cast his maledict having a 400 casting range.  It also has a very small Area of Effect, 150.  Crystal Maiden can damage and disable enemies easier as what will be much harder for Witch Doctor.

Earthshaker - one of the best hero in clash.  He has a long range stun and can turn into a perma stun hero because of his Aftershock.  However, Earthshaker is melee that makes him unable to harass opponents by doing cheap shots.  Duration of Fissure is 1, 1.25, 1.5, and 1.75 from level 1 to 4, respectively.  This requires him to trap the enemy to give more time for his allies to kill.  Thus, if fissure is cast incorrectly he can be anti-offensive disrupting his team mates from killing.  Crystal Maiden has the advantage in ganking, lane control, harassing, vision, amount of mana and mana regeneration for the team.

There are other good support heroes in Dota World but Crystal Maiden is definitely the most flexible and effective specially in dominating the trilane.  She's best at dominating the lane so pick heroes that can be aggressive and have great killing powers.

Top 5 Best Mid Heroes: Ehome's Most Picked Mid Dota Heroes

Ehome was the most successful team in the previous versions so I made a research on their strategies.  I watched their games and made a list of what are their most picked heroes in every role.  Heroes are placed in Mid lane for main 2 reasons:

1.  They are required to max their skills early to achieve full potential.
2.  They can  be stable at mid lane.

This is Ehome's Top 5 Most Picked Mid Heroes from 6.67c through 6.71b

TOP 5: (triple tie) Tinker - Boush, Alchemist - Razzil Darkbrew, Doom Bringer - Lucifer

We have a triple tie in top 5.  Ehome played these 3 heroes on mid lane 4 times from 6.67c through 6.71b as uploaded at Gosugamers.  Tinker's Laser inflicts very high damage great for harassing opponents at mid lane.  Missile can be used to finish the opponents off.  Alchemist's poison and high armor makes him stable at mid lane.  His Unstable Concoction is also great for harassing and killing, especially, when gankers come to help him.  Doom, with his great tanking ability early game and Devour, can survive and get a lot of farm at mid lane.  Once he and his lane mate reaches level 5, harassing comes handy and level 6 can make his opponent play more passively because a Doom and LVL? Death is enough to finish him.  He is one of the oldest melee player seen to be a mid game hero.

TOP 4: Beastmaster - Rexxar

Ehome used Beastmaster as mid lane hero in 9 recorded games.  Beastmaster has a very long range decent damage skill, Wild Axe.  He is also a good tank which makes him hard to be harassed by long range heroes nor killed easily by being ganked.  He also have a long range stun plus slowing summon to be able for him to finish his opponent at mid lane.  With the help of gankers, killing mid lane opponents will take no time particularly if he's against a low hp hero.

TOP 3: Shadow Fiend - Nevermore

This hero is the most picked mid hero of all time but he ranked only 3rd after recording 14 games played by Ehome.  Shadow Fiend is perfect at mid lane for having the ability to harass opponents distant from him even at uphill.  He should also get some level fast because of his fragility and because his skills are much useful when it is of high level.

TOP 2: Storm Spirit - Raijin

After being used mostly as the best hero to lane against Shadow Fiend,  Ehome usually pick Storm Spirit recording 16 games.  His overload is great for harassing opponents at mid lane.  His Static Remnant makes it easy for him to kill aggressive opponents.  He can use his Electric Vortex to hold fleeing opponents and give additional disable when gankers to help him.  Ball lightning at level 6 gives him more mobility without getting nuked by walking towards the opponent.  He can perform surprise attacks anytime his mana is sufficient.

TOP 1: Demon Witch - Lion

Ehome's most picked mid lane hero is Demon Witch recording 20 games played at mid.  Impale is great for harassment because it's also a decent range nuke.  He has 2 disables that are very helpful once he leveled it up.  The main goal of Ehome is use him as a carry-ganker once he farms his Kelen's Dagger.  With Demon Witch having that item, killing is a lot easier for Ehome making their late game hero/es have free farming lanes.

There you have it, the top 5 most picked mid lane heroes by Ehome from 6.67c through 6.71b as recorded at Gosugamers.

Top 8 Best Dota Supports: Ehome's Favorite Support Heroes

What made Ehome a great team is not only their sick farming carries, their supports also contributed a lot to their victories.  In fact, Ehome.820, was considered the 2nd best support in 2010, next to NS.  He was joined by 357 who's also undeniably a great support player.  These 2 players combined forces in support role gave headache to other teams in detecting Ehome's weak points.

Ehome definitely tried and studied what heroes are the best supports for the team.  These support heroes should have the early game strength to assure their carry heroes have safe farming lanes.

This is the list of their most picked support heroes from 6.67c though 6.71b as recorded at Gosugamers.
*I could have given the top 10 but Ehome didn't have that much variety of supports picking other heroes less than 5 times*

Top 8: Slayer - Lina Inverse

Ehome's top 8 favorite support is Lina Inverse recording being played for 6 games from 6.67c through 6.71b as uploaded at Gosugamers.  Being picked 6 times yet ranked 8th shows that Ehome doesn't change their core support heroes often.  Lina has high-damage nukes but her stun (Light Strike Array) is difficult for initiation and only has 1.6 stun duration.  Ehome. lately, picks her often because she works well with their most picked hero today, Clockwork.

TOP 7: Enigma - Darchrow and Leviathan - Tidehunter

These 2 heroes tied at top 7 after Ehome used them for 7 times within the limitations of this research.  Enigma, obviously, is one of the best mass disabler heroes.  With his Blackhole, there are several heroes that will work great with him in clash.  Enigma, however, has a lot of weaknesses too.  One of them is that his ultimate has long cool down duration.  Along that long duration weakness, his ultimate can also be countered easily by a long range disable.  BKB can answer the problem but there are still skills that will cancel his channeling ultimate like Swap and Roar.

Leviathan has early game tanking ability and nuke that can slow as well as reduce enemy's armor.  His ultimate is also great for clash.  On the other hand, his ultimate has high cool down duration and ganking is quite hard for this hero.  Ehome uses him not as initiator like what most think.  Ehome uses him as back up.  This is very effective in baiting and other team fights.  Once the enemy piled up to focus on one hero, a Leviathan can disable them all, giving more time for allies to kill key heroes.

TOP 6: Rogue Knight - Sven

Sven is one of Ehome's favorite alternative support, picking him 14 times.  His storm bolt is AOE and has 2 seconds duration from level 1 to 4.  The damage increases as it increases its level from 100(level 1) to 325(level 4).  Sven also has a skill called, warcry, that helps the team greatly in chasing heroes.
TOP 5: Lesale Deathbringer - Venomancer

Ehome picked Venomancer 15 times making its way to top 5 of the count down.  Like Rogue Knight, its disable (in this case slow) was made AOE.  Slow starts at 50% and decreases as time passes.  The damage is quite ignorable but the 50% slow is deadly if worked with painful heroes.  His ward is a good anti-gank lasting for 40 seconds and the cool down is only 5 seconds.  His poison nova hurts a lot but should be used early while the opponents are still earning for their BKB or hood making Poison Nova useless.

TOP 4: Raigor Stonehoof - Earthshaker

Ehome picked Earthshaker 17 times.  When Ehome wants to turtle Earthshaker would always be their main anti-early hero.  Earthshaker's skills are known to everyone.  He has good defending skills perfect for passive type of games.  Once he has his dagger, clashes are a lot easier.  He can inflict great damage careless teams giving his team mates easier job of simply giving the finishing blows on the enemy.

TOP 3: Witch Doctor - Vol'jin

Ehome picked Witch Doctor 22 times.  His Paralyzing Cask cannot be underestimated.  If used perfectly, his paralyzing cask can end up the life of 2 heroes without having the chance to fight.  His heal is also used a lot early game which is very annoying for the opponents.  Maledict is also a good skill for team fights and ganks.  His ultimate, Death Ward, makes him join the spammer heroes proving that he is an all around support hero.

TOP 2: Crystal Maiden - Rylai

One of the few supports that can really join the aggressive trilane early game is Rylai.  Ehome picked her 25 times which is like everytime.  Crystal Maiden has a long range Frost Nova making her cast it safely.  It is a very deadly skill yet she can cast it though she's not seen.  Another disabling skill she has is Frost Bite.  Furthermore, she gives aura for the entire team.  Mana advantage gives additional advantage for lane domination.  Her Freezing Field is a very painful AOE channeling spell that ,if used at the right time, contributes a lot in team battles.

TOP 1: Vengeful Spirit - Shandelzare Silkwood

You guessed it.  Ehome's most picked support is Vengeful Spirit recording 29 games played.  She is usually the first pick of Ehome.  She has a stun (Magic Missile), free vision and armor reduction (terror), damage increase for the team (Command Aura), and saving or initiation skill (Nether Swap).  This offers flexibility for Ehome's pick.  Once they pick Vengeful as first pick, they can still study what their opponents are planning to do and easily adjust their play style to counter the opponent's hero line up.

Top 10 Best Carry Heroes: Ehome's Most Picked Carries

Other than Ehome's great team play, their Dota heroes line up and strategies contributes a lot to their huge success in the last tournaments.  Their achievements are mentioned in Ehome Dota Team Profile.  Curiosity will make you ask many things about their game.  One of those questions would be about their most picked heroes.  820, one of the best Dota captains of all time, lead Ehome's game plays and hero drafting.  I made a research on what are the most picked heroes by him and I'm going to give you right now their Top 10 most picked carry (or semi-carry) heroes.

This is the Top 10 List of Ehome's Most picked carry heroes based on the replays uploaded from 6.67c through 6.71b.

TOP 10: Fairy Dragon - Puck

Puck was used by Ehome as a carry 8 times since 6.67c was out, making her way to the top 10.  Puck's ability to maintain a lane and initiate fights make her Ehome's 10th favorite hero.

TOP 9: Necro'lic - Visage

The record shows that Necro'lic was picked 9 times by Ehome to fill the carry role, specifically, in the trilane.  His deadly nuke early game makes him a dangerous opponent to face.  His ultimate skill enables him to summon 2 range painful Familiars that has the ability to stun opponents upon landing.

TOP 8: Beastmaster - Rexxar

Beastmaster is one of Ehome's favorite mid hero.  Ehome had the chance to pick him 10 times in official games since 6.67c.  He is simply equipped with useful skills like his long range wild axe, map hacking crow, boar with slow and long duration high damage ultimate.  He is also a high armored hero that's not easy to take down early.

TOP 7: Alchemist - Razzil Darkbrew and Sniper - Kardel Sharpeye

Both Alchemist and Sniper were used by Ehome 11 times as the replays show at Gosugamers.net.  Alchemist is really a great hero that is hard to take down.  He also have great defending skills and  long duration disable.  Kardel is placed at the trilane most of the time.  His shrapnel helps a lot in dominating a trilane and his long range makes him able to harass farming opponents.  Turtling this hero is one of Ehome's insurance to win a game.

TOP 6: Morphling - Morphling, Drow Ranger - Traxex and Gorgon - Medusa

These 3 heroes were picked 13 times by Ehome to carry the team.  Medusa has high late game potential and safer early game.  She has a decent nuke to make her stable in her lane.  Morphling is one of the most difficult to kill hero having 3 escape mechanisms (Waveform, Morph, Replicate).  He surely will reach late game farming his wanted items on time.  Drow ranger was often used by Ehome mainly to counter Storm Spirit.  Drow's long duration silence is enough to kill Storm Spirit in a clash.

TOP 5: Windrunner - Alleria

Alleria was used by Ehome 14 times based from the record.  She is one of the mostly picked hero by Ehome because of her versatility.  She can survive trilane easily.  She has powerful nuke for clearing creeps and harassing heroes.  She also has a long duration disable and she has good late game potential.

TOP 4: Storm Spirit - Raijin

Storm Spirit was used by Ehome 15 times.  This hero was often used by EH.Gigabyte.X!! back then before his great nerfs.  Shadow Fiend won't win his lane easily against Storm Spirit.  Initiating ganks is so easy with Storm Spirit on the team.  Storm spirit has the ability to pick heroes to take down first, most often it would be the key heroes.  Ehome took advantage of these.

TOP 3: Admiral - Kunkka
Kunkka was picked almost everytime recording 17 games.  Ehome's trilane would often win, thanks to Kunkka.  His AOE skills are simply so helpful in taking down the entire enemy fast.  He can harass range heroes though he is melee.  Ehome took advantage of giving Kunkka compatible allies because this hero is just so great to overlook.

TOP 2: Shadow Fiend - Nevermore

Shadow Fiend was used by Ehome in 18 games uploaded at gosugamers.net since 6.67c.  Ehome, like other teams, appreciates the amount of damage Shadow Fiend gives.  He has painful nukes early game and he can carry a team in late game.

TOP 1: Demon Witch - Lion

Demon Witch is the signature hero of Ehome being played in 33 games.  Dai(EH.GIGABYTE.X!!) would always be known for using this hero flawlessly.  He would always be on mid lane, stable.  Lion was used by Ehome to win their lanes early and mid game.  Lion may ,sometimes, not dominate mid lane but because of having an early Finger of Death and , the opponent's trilane are in trouble.  He hunts once he reached level 6 and farm his Kelen's Dagger of Escape as quick as possible.  Once Lion has Dagger, the team can play aggressively and continuously kill opponents not making them farm their key items.

DotA Top 10 Fastest Pusher Heroes

One of the most important thing in DotA is Pushing Towers. Without this winning is not possible.  There are DotA Push Strategy which includes healer and summoner DotA heroes.  We also need a AOE spells to get rid of enemy creeps distracting our allied creeps.  A lot of heroes have the ability to push towers quickly but which are the fastest.  This will show you the top 10 fastest pusher heroes in DotA.  Before I give you the ranking, there are limitations in this ranking.  The heroes will all be level 16 having all skills maxed, heroes wont have any items, there are no enemy creep distracting allied creeps, cooldown of skills are considered and there are no defending enemy hero.

Now, I'll give you the fastest pusher heroes in DotA.

Top 10
Goblin Techies - Squee and Spleen (39 seconds)

The spell with the highest instant damage in DotA is the land mine by Techies.  It has 600 damage at level 4 on creeps and heroes; 300 damage on towers.  First towers have 1300hp.  Techies can destroy a tower with four land mines and 2 or 3 hits by him or allied creeps.  Without spell cool down he would be considered the fastest pusher, who can destroy a tower in 8 seconds.  Now, considering the cool down of the land mine which is 12 seconds, Techies can push a tower in 39 seconds considering that he and the allied creeps are hitting the tower every cool down time of land mines.

Top 9
Prophet - Furion (32 seconds)

Furion, using his skill - force of nature, is considered to be the top 9 fastest tower destroyer in DotA.  He has a high base damage but his summons only have 21-23 damage.  He can summon 5 trents that will give around 100 damage per attack on towers.  In real games, he would be a great pusher having his other skills teleportation and wrath of nature.

Top 8
Black Arachnia - Broodmother (25 secs)

Broodmother can summon 4 Spiderlings by using his first skill - Spawn Spiderlings.  Pushing with only 4 spiderlings doesn't make broodmother a fast pusher hero.  The best way is to summon another set of spiderlings making it 8.  Pushing with 8 spiderlings can destroy a tower in 15 seconds.  But considering the cooldown(10 seconds) of the skill to be able to summon 2 sets of spiderlings, makes it 25 seconds.

Top 7
Oblivion - Pugna (22 seconds)

This is one of the feared pusher in the game - Pugna. Aside from his excellent pushing ability, he also has great abilities for team fights and survival, that is why he is often banned.  Considering the cool down of Nether Blast which is 5.5.  He can destroy a tower with 4 blasts and hitting the tower while waiting for another blast.  The 4th blast would be the finishing blast making him destroy the tower in 22 seconds.

Top 6
Enigma - Darchrow (18 seconds)

Enigma, using his Demonic Conversion skill, can summon 3 Eilodons.  These 3 Eilodons with Enigma and Creeps can destroy a tower in 20 seconds, but using an alternative and make these Eilodons hit enemy creeps first making it 6 Eilodons have better result.  Using them to make 6 hits on creeps takes 8 seconds.  Now, having 6 Eilodons, Enigma and creeps can destroy a tower in 10 seconds.  Considering the time to have 6 Eilodons gives Enigma a total of 18 seconds to destroy a tower.

Top 5
Pandaren Brewmaster - Mangix (17 secs)

Mangix, level 16 without aganims, is a great pusher.  3 Mighty pandas with creeps destroys a tower in 17 seconds.

Top 4
Lycanthrope - Banehallow (14 seconds)

Almost all of the skills of Banehallow contribute to pushing.  He has dogs that have piercing damage on towers, howl that adds damage, feral impulse adds damage and attack speed, and phase shift gives him attack speed increase.  Using all of this skills in pushing a tower destroys the tower in around 14 seconds.

Top 3
Tormented Soul - Leshrac (12 seconds)

Leshrac's Diabolic Edict is a skill that makes 32 explosions with 50 damage each explosion having a total of 1600.  Leshrac's Diabolic, with creeps make the tower burning in 8 seconds.  At this point, the Diabolic will be turned off.  It'll take extra 4 seconds to destroy the tower completely having a total of 12 seconds.

Top 2
Shadow Shaman - Rhasta  (10 seconds)

The Ultimate Skill of Rhasta is the top 2 tower destroyer.  Even without Aganims, these deadly wards, along with rhasta and creeps hitting the tower, destroys a tower in 10 seconds.

Top 1
Death Prophet - Krobelus (9 seconds)

The Ghosts summoned by Krobelus is the Best Tower Destroyer making Krobelus the fastest pusher with these limitations.  In games, she is still considered a great pusher because of her AOE nuke - Carrion Swarm.  Exorcism, improved by witchcraft,  focused on a tower totally destroys a tower in 9 seconds.
